B.I.T. Mk.IV »Churchill IV«
The Churchill IV was basically a Churchill III with the turret production switching back to cast type again.
The turret was slightly smaller than the welded ancestor and had the side openings of the Churchill II.
Track shields had become series as well as the new air intake louvers and the light cast steel tracks.
No more than 105 samples were loaded on the Arctic convoy ships in 1942 and 1943, all of them reaching their Russian destination.
The Churchill played a prominent role during the fighting for the Kursk salient in summer 1943.

Note : The side view shows the front fenders in place which were frequently removed in the field as shown on the rear and front views.
