GAZ-65, 1½-ton Halftrack, Cargo
In the late 1930's, the Gorkiy Auto Zavod (»GAZ«) combined a simplistic track suspension with a GAZ-AA »Polutorka« truck.
As with the better known ZiS-33, the suspension itself was liftable thus allowing to use the car as a normal truck as well.
However, tests proved little satisfying, so only a handful of the new »GAZ-65« were produced and GAZ soon switched production to the better suited GAZ-60.

Note : All truck drawings are based on the excellent line-drawings of Mr. N. Polikarpov in the Russian magazine M-Hobby.
