ZiS-6, 2½-4-ton 6x4, Cargo
The ZiS-6 was the 3-axle version of the ZiS-5 2-axle truck.
It was built from 1933 until October 1941 at the Moscow plant and reached a total production of 21,239.
Its payload capacity varied from 2.5-ton on ground to 4-ton on highways.
The robust and reliable base was used for a plenty of different bodies, i.e. as searchlight truck or mobile workshop.
But best.known to a wider audience is his role as the first multiple rocket launcher in July 1941.

Note : All truck drawings are based on the excellent line-drawings of Mr. N. Polikarpov in the Russian magazine M-Hobby.
