With the windshield protection shut,
the rear ground stabilizers installed and
the sixteen 132mm rockets loaded,
... the BM-13N is ready to fire!

Ford/Marmon-Herrington ("Ford-Marmon") HH6-COE4
1.5-ton, 4x4, with BM-13-16 "Katiusha" Rocket Launcher
The HH6-COE4 was a 4x4 conversion of the Ford 198W 1½-ton 4x2 COE commercial truck, a work so typical for the small US firm Marmon-Herrington.

The vehicle had a 158in. wheelbase and usually a 30in. high cargo body.

At least some, if not the majority of the 500 Marmon-Herrington Ford 4x4 COE conversions, delivered to Russia under Lend-Lease from late 1941 to 1942, were used to carry BM-13-16 "Katiusha" Rocket Launchers, probably the first foreign chassis with the BM-13 installed on.

The drawings are based on several war-time photos, where the shown vehicle is incorrectly described as »GMC COE« or »Chevrolet COE«.
