Among the first British deliveries to the Soviet Arctic ports of Murmansk and Archangelsk in 1941/42 were a few batches of the
Albion BY3N 3-ton 6x4.
The archaic looking vehicle was produced from 6/1940-11/1941 with various bodies and equipped with a 80bhp 6-cyl.
EN278A engine.
Like all 6x4 trucks of this early period, it used the WD-patented rear-bogie and the standard WD-pattern open cab with canvas folding hood and sidescreens.
