FWD SU-COE, 5-6-ton, 4x4, Prime Mover
According to »US War Department, Quantities of Lend-Lease Shipments«, a total of 90 5-6-ton 4x4 Prime Mover trucks were delivered to the USSR towards the end of the war.
They were part of an 1944 Ordnance Department order over 2,700 vehicles and built by the Four Wheel Drive Co., Wisc.
Capable of towing heavy weights over rough ground, it can be assumed that at least some SU were issued to Artillery units.
